My brief was to design a logo for a school “Prom Shop” initiative. A school led project that provides students with affordable, sustainable prom attire. The brief was to create a professional and stylish logo that reflected both the elegance of prom fashion and the supportive, community driven nature of the initiative.

The concept centred on blending school identity with prom sophistication. The logo features a silhouette of a formal suit and prom dress, visually representing inclusivity and the celebratory nature of the event. The elegant serif typography conveys a polished, timeless feel, while the contrasting red in “teg” and “Prom Shop” adds a dynamic accent that draws the eye.

I developed the logo using a clean vector style, ensuring it would work effectively across multiple applications, including digital platforms, printed posters, social media, and embroidered merchandise. Careful attention was given to balance and proportion, allowing the text and iconography to remain clear and visually appealing at different sizes.

The final logo gave the Prom Shop initiative a distinct and professional identity, helping to raise its profile within the school community. It was used across promotional materials and became a recognisable symbol for the project, supporting the school’s efforts to make prom more accessible and inclusive for students.
