The Green Gastronomy — Social Media Banner Design

I designed a series of social media banners for The Green Gastronomy, a vegetarian restaurant. The brief was to create vibrant, eye-catching graphics that would showcase their fresh dishes, promote table bookings, and strengthen the restaurant’s online presence. Each banner needed to be visually striking, while clearly communicating essential contact and booking information.

Concept

The concept centred on celebrating the vibrancy of vegetarian cuisine through bold food photography and a clean, modern design. A fresh green colour palette was used consistently to reflect the restaurant’s brand identity and values. By pairing simple, structured layouts with mouthwatering imagery, the banners were designed to grab attention and instantly convey a sense of freshness and quality. The balance of text and imagery ensured that the promotional message remained clear and compelling.

Execution

I created multiple banner variations, each featuring different signature dishes, from pasta to salads and pizzas, to highlight the variety of the menu. The designs followed a consistent layout system, with the restaurant’s name and contact details prominently placed to encourage bookings. High-resolution food photography was carefully chosen and composed to maximise visual appeal, while subtle gradients and clean typography maintained a professional aesthetic.

Outcome

The banner series effectively communicated The Green Gastronomy’s brand personality, showcasing their food in a way that felt fresh, inviting, and professional.
