Asked to be the official photographer for a school production of Gimme Gimme Gimme ABBA! The production ran over two days with four performances, and my role was to capture the atmosphere, creativity, and talent of the students throughout the show.

The concept for the photography was to reflect the dynamic energy of the performances and colourful costumes that brought the production to life. I aimed to document both dramatic storytelling moments and high-energy ensemble numbers, using lighting and composition to enhance the theatrical mood of each scene.

I photographed the production to ensure comprehensive coverage, capturing a mix of wide stage shots, mid-action moments, and intimate character portrayals. Special attention was given to timing, anticipating and capturing key performances and expressive, emotional moments.

The resulting photo collection celebrates the incredible talent, dedication, and creativity of the students. The images were shared across school platforms and in promotional materials, helping to showcase the success of the production and preserve lasting memories of the performances. Capturing these kinds of events is one of the most rewarding parts of my work, documenting moments that students, families, and the school community will treasure for years to come.
