My creative brief was to create a complete brand identity for Lūmen Lotus, a mindfulness and yoga business promoting balance, clarity, and inner light. The aim was to design a serene and contemporary brand that captures the calm essence of yoga while reflecting a sense of awakening and self-discovery. The visual identity needed to feel pure, modern, and uplifting, appealing to those seeking mindful connection in both body and mind.

The concept for Lūmen Lotus was inspired by the symbolism of light and growth, Lūmen, meaning “light”, paired with Lotus, a universal emblem of renewal and enlightenment. Together, the name represents illumination through stillness and personal transformation through practice. The design direction focused on harmony and simplicity, using soft gradients and natural forms to evoke peace and clarity.

The colour palette explored tones of ivory, blush, sage, and muted gold, suggesting warmth and tranquillity. Circular and petal-like motifs symbolised balance and flow, while negative space was used purposefully to create a sense of calm and openness.

The logo design features a stylised lotus bloom emerging from a subtle halo of light, a visual metaphor for mindfulness and awakening. Minimalist typography was chosen to complement the organic logo form, using a refined sans-serif with gentle curves for a contemporary yet approachable look.

The visual system extended across brand applications including yoga studio signage, apparel, packaging, digital platforms, and wellness journals. Consistent use of delicate linework, soft textures, and light-infused photography reinforced the brand’s serene personality and mindful ethos. The tagline “Move with Meaning.” encapsulates the essence of Lūmen Lotus, graceful movement grounded in purpose.

The Lūmen Lotus brand identity captures the spirit of mindful living through balanced design and elegant simplicity. It conveys a sense of peace, growth, and authenticity that resonates deeply with its audience. The final outcome delivers a cohesive and uplifting presence, positioning Lūmen Lotus as a trusted and inspiring guide for those seeking stillness, strength, and light in their everyday lives.
